Villa Smodlaka provided excellent value for money with its spacious rooms, fully equipped kitchen, and a massive terrace offering fine views. The location was perfect, close to the old town but far enough away from the noise. The host, Vinka, was really good in her service and friendliness.
Regarding breakfast offerings, it would be even better if there were more variety of options available.

The highlight was the fine terrace, where we spent hours relaxing and enjoying the beautiful surroundings. The apartment itself was lovely, with a fully equipped kitchen and comfortable beds. The location was perfect, just a short walking distance from the old town and bus station. The host, Vinka, was friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. Although there were a couple of minor drawbacks mentioned by other guests, such as nearby noise from a school and limited internet access in the bedroom, they did not significantly impact our overall experience. We highly recommend Villa Smodlaka for anyone visiting Split!

We had an amazing time at this spot in Split. The apartment was huge and perfect for a family with teens or grown-up kids. The two large bedrooms and two toilets gave us plenty of space. The kitchen had everything we needed and more. The highlight was the incredibly large terrace with sunbeds, dining table, and sofas. It was the largest terrace we've ever seen. The location was great, close enough to the old town but far enough to avoid the noise and craziness of bars and parties. We also appreciated the proximity to the buses, making it easy to explore other areas like the airport and Trogir. it was an excellent experience with a wonderful host.
Felt really at home, no complaints.

Featuring antique furniture, the apartment was like stepping into a time machine, whisking me away to a bygone era of elegance and charm. I half-expected to see Marie Antoinette sipping tea in the exquisite dining area. The attention to detail in the design truly made me feel like royalty.
Noisy school nearby.

During my recent transit stay in Split, I had the pleasure of staying at Villa Smodlaka. The location of the accommodation was extremely convenient, as it was situated only 22 km away from the nearest airport. This proximity made my travel experience hassle-free and allowed me to reach the airport without any unnecessary stress. the provided database included a comprehensive list of nearby schools, ensuring that I was aware of the local surroundings.
I found that the kitchen in the accommodation was well-stocked with pots, pans, and glasses, which was certainly appreciated.

Absolutely loved our stay! The terrace was stunning and perfect for relaxing. The place was clean and the beds were super comfortable. The location couldn't have been better, just a short walk to the heart of the city and the beach. Made our city break even more enjoyable!
The second bed was in the living room, so technically only one bedroom. Also, the wifi didn't work well in the bedroom.

The hotel is conveniently located just a short walk away from the old town, making it easy to access bars, restaurants, and attractions. the rooms are clean and well-equipped with all the necessary amenities. Guests can enjoy the beautiful terrace with city views, providing a relaxing space to unwind and enjoy a drink.
The internet access is limited to the living room, which can be inconvenient if someone is occupying the room and using the internet.
